
Four Days of Mindful Practices
This multi-day event is designed to celebrate and promote wellness, culture, and the natural beauty of our region. Each day will feature professionally facilitated workshops focused on holistic wellness, personal growth, and community connection, while also highlighting the unique cultural and geographic qualities of each host area. We also have enlisted local eating establishments to host a “boxed lunch” for lunch time and a “special priced meal” for dinner.
Each of these areas will have scheduled workshops, whereby pre-registration will be required with each individual facilitator.
We will be promoting the culture and beauty of these areas by way of self-facilitated activities, such as trail walks, selfie opportunities, points of interest for artists, and photography areas/vistas.

Misty is a holistic life coach, somatic guide, and yoga teacher who opened Still Shores Collective Yoga Studio in Barrington, Nova Scotia. With a background in law and over 20 years in high-pressure environments, her work is rooted in lived experience, nervous system wisdom, and a deep respect for the body's intelligence.
After navigating burnout, chronic illness, and a profound personal reset, Misty shifted from hustle to heart centered leadership. Today, she supports women in reconnecting with themselves through yoga, somatic practices, and grounded reflection that brings more ease, clarity, and presence into daily life.
Her classes are an invitation to slow down, breathe, and remember what it feels like to be at home in your body. Expect a warm, accessible practice that meets you where you are, with a little magic woven in.

Nancy lives in Alphonse and has been practicing yoga since 2014. She discovered yoga due to a back issue and completed her YTT in Yarmouth in April 2017. Additionally she completed her Indian Massage Certification from the Atlantic School of Reflexology in New Brunswick in October 2020. Nancy offers sessions from her home.

Elise is a certified Trauma-Informed Breathwork Facilitator who helps other find their flow with the healthy and meaningful lives they want to live. She creates specially curated and highly attuned Breathwork sessions to support people wherever they are at in their journey to wholness because she understands the power of realigning at the body level.

Nadine is a personal chef who has experience in healthy eating as well as healthy living. Nadine is continuing her education in wellness and shares her journey with others to guide them on a health way of living.

Former owner operator to the metaphysical store Futura New Age and Metaphysical, she started her journey back in December 25th, 2013. She has had a magical journey finding herself, loving herself and loving all living things unconditionally.

Gina is a retired nurse who has been dedicating her new life journey to help those who are struggling with , want to maintain, or want to improve their mental, physical, and spiritual wellness through holistic measures and providing resources. Gina is the founding member of the Forest Dean Wellness Society and one of the founding members of the Because We Care Fund.
